Fuadt Abuid has been a practicing lawyer since 2012 and founded Abuid Tax & Legal in 2016.

Mr. Abuid advises local and foreign clients on the design and implementation of legal and tax strategies for doing business in Chile. He regularly participates in international transactions that involve coordinating legal teams across multiple jurisdictions. His legal opinion on tax, customs, and civil liability matters has been requested in various legal reports.

Mr. Abuid represents clients in corporate reorganizations including mergers, transformations, spin-offs, capital contributions, and structured financings. He frequently advises on the purchase and sale of companies and strategic assets, with emphasis on negotiating terms and the tax effects of transactions.

In estate matters, Mr. Abuid has extensive experience in family business control transfers, wills and their execution, donations, legacies, and asset partition proceedings.

Mr. Abuid represents clients before the Chilean IRS, Customs, Municipalities, and Treasury, as well as in tax litigation before Tax and Customs Courts and Chilean appellate courts.
